OK, you've decided that its time to sell your house. By now you know that you need to interview at least three real estate agents to give yourself choice. And of course you know by now that you should get references from each of the candidates and you should check out those references. But here's something you may not know.

One of the things you want to do is to make sure you choose a real estate agent who is knowledgeable about real estate in your neighborhood. Sure, an agent might have 20 years of experience working in real estate but keep in mind that every neighborhood is different. Each has its own particular characteristics, its own pricing history, its own unique set of peculiarities.

So, when interviewing real estate agents try to interview as many as possible with specific knowledge of your neighborhood. They'll know better how to price your house and where to market it for the fastest possible results.
